CUSTODIAN iPad Screens

The brief

With CUSTODIAN preparing for launch, our brief was to create a complete brand identity for this new Content Management System. Something professional, recognisable and flexible enough to work wherever the brand needed to appear.

The challenge was to bring all the elements of a complex digital product together under one clear visual identity. A small ask, then!

From a screen in someone’s hand to a printed business card, every application needed to give this new CMS an immediate consistent presence.

Our approach

Good branding starts with understanding what sits behind it. For CUSTODIAN, that meant considering not just the software but the people using it. We wanted the identity to communicate clarity and confidence without losing its personality. As always, that starts with asking the right questions:

  • How can the branding reflect a complete CMS without becoming complicated?
  • Will the logo remain recognisable on a small screen?
  • How will the identity translate across digital platforms, print and clothing?

These practical details help shape a brand that works in everyday use. Bringing them together gave CUSTODIAN’s identity a clear direction and room to grow as the platform moves towards launch.

The creative

With the direction established, it was time to bring the identity to life. A distinctive logo sits at the heart of the identity, supported by complimentary typography, colours and guidelines that keep the branding connected across different formats.

For a software brand, those details matter. CUSTODIAN’s identity needs to feel at home on screen while retaining its character in print. Device mockups, stationery, business cards and branded clothing show how the design carries across each application.

The result is a complete brand identity for a CMS preparing to make its introduction, with a consistent visual style and the flexibility to support what comes next.
